  Not happy .While shopping tonight ot was announced all chicken half price .I went straight to the counter and asked for a chicken .The male assistant replied asking which chicken I would like and also commented they were now half price . I pointed to a chicken that did not look as dark as the others .I also asked for 16 chicken wings and proceeded to the self serve checkouts . The chicken wings would not scan and neither would the chicken . When the chicken was scanned it came up at £4.00 and I pointed out this was not half price .The assistant a lovely young man said he would sort it . He called someone over a female who I take it was the supervisor .She said he had put the wrong ticket on and would sort it. On her return she said it was only selected chickens . I stated this was wrong because I would not have bought one and also why did he ask which one I wanted and not point out which were reduced .I said it was my word against his but did point out I thought the customer was always right and left the store.There was no apology or anything .I always shop at Sainsbury's but I have to say I was not impressed with the customer service .
